Product Packaging Boxes
Product packaging boxes from SunTop Printing close as intended after loading. Where a window is used, the intended area remains visible after folding or assembly.
Foil, embossing, debossing, UV, lamination and other specified finishes remain in the intended position on the visible and handled box surface after folding, opening or assembly.
Paperboard and cardstock can be selected around the box structure, printed surface and handling required.
Before manufacturing paperboard or cardstock boxes, SunTop Printing checks board thickness and moisture. Moisture readings are taken with a Kett HK300 Instant Paper Moisture Meter.
Where certified board is specified, FSC® 100% and FSC® Mix material claims remain traceable through SunTop Printing’s FSC Chain of Custody Certification.
Cosmetic Packaging Boxes often combine tighter brand-color requirements with specialty paperboard and decorative finishes.
Supplement Packaging Boxes often carry denser printed information, making clear reproduction of that content especially important.
Consistent Box Quality
Commercial consistency matters when one approved custom printed box becomes thousands or hundreds of thousands.
A physical box made with the specified materials, printing and surface finishes sets the reference for printed color, finish placement and the formed box across the full order. Where die cutting and creasing apply, their positions are checked against the same reference.
Across the order, full-color CMYK printing, specified surface finishes and the formed boxes remain consistent with the approved box and order requirements.
For example, one of SunTop Printing’s commercial custom printed box orders exceeded 500,000 boxes. It involved different boxes, sizes, printed content, surface finishes and quantities. The order was completed by the production completion date agreed with the customer. Before the boxes left the factory, the order underwent a full inspection covering the box requirements, quantities and packing condition. After receiving the boxes, the customer gave positive feedback on the printing quality, box forming quality and overall order result.
Among commercial custom printed boxes entering final inspection, 99%+ conform to the approved physical reference and order requirements on the first inspection. Quality checks continue through printing and box making, followed by a full inspection before the boxes leave the factory. That final inspection covers the printed result, specified surface finishes, box forming and quantity, with die-cut, crease and gluing results checked when relevant to the structure.
Printed color is measured against the approved reference in CIELAB values, with a Delta-E ≤ 1.0 batch tolerance. SunTop Printing holds G7 Master Facility Certification and uses G7 Master color management. It also holds Fogra PSO Certification, and commercial offset printing follows ISO 12647-2.
On press, HEIDELBERG Prinect Inpress Control 3 measures spectral color and print registration, while X-Rite eXact™ 2 provides an independent check against the approved color reference. Specified Pantone spot colors are matched to the approved color reference, with spot-color inks formulated using X-Rite IFS 100% spectral formulation.
In a commercial batch of 100,000 custom printed boxes using both foil and embossing, the specified foil and embossed areas remained in position after folding, opening or assembly.

SunTop Printing has also completed repeat commercial orders for previously approved Custom Printed Boxes. Later orders continued to match the earlier run in print color, surface finishes and box-forming result.
On reorders, SunTop Printing uses the approved box, CIELAB color data, material specifications and manufacturing records to keep the reorder aligned with the earlier run. SunTop Printing tracks commercial orders through MES. ERP records for paper, ink, glue and operating shifts are kept for three years, and 20 physical samples from each batch are retained for 24 months as repeat-order references.
For corporate procurement and supplier qualification, SunTop Printing holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, has completed Sedex SMETA and amfori BSCI audits, and carries USD 5 million Product Liability Insurance.

Custom Folding Cartons are usually supplied flat and folded for packing.
Custom Rigid Boxes use rigid board and arrive assembled or in a collapsible format.
For mailer, retail and transit packaging, Custom Printed Corrugated Boxes use fluted corrugated board.
